2025 The 9th International Conference on System Reliability and Safety
Turin, Italy - November 26-28, 2025

Session Keynote Lectures

Jeroen Boydens, KU Leuven, Belgium

Jeroen Boydens (Senior Member, IEEE) received the M.S. degree in engineering KU Leuven, Bel[1]gium, in 1988 and the M.S. degree in computer sci[1]ence from the VUB, Brussels, Belgium, in 1989. He received the Ph.D. degree from Katholieke Universiteit (KU) Leuven, Leuven in the field of adding constructs to object-oriented programming languages in 2008. He is Professor in Computer Science at the M-Group Research Group, KU Leuven, Belgium, where he leads a team of doctoral researchers in the field of embedded software. He started his own research group on embedded software engineering where he led a number of projects in close cooperation with industry in 2007. His research focus is on the intersection of the reliability of embedded systems, software testing, and functional safety. Professor Boydens is senior member of the IEEE Computer Science society and a senior member of ACM society.

The talk will be presented by Teamworker Jens Vankeirsbilck, KU Leuven, Belgium
