Hamid Reza Shaker is the research lead for the strategic research area of Digitally Enabled Asset Maintenance and Management at SDU Center for Energy Informatics, particularly focusing on industrial systems and infrastructure. His research application domain is centered around the energy technology landscape, with a specific emphasis on smart grids and microgrids, district heating systems, and smart buildings.
One of his key contributions is the development of predictive asset maintenance and management frameworks aimed at enhancing Operation and Maintenance (O&M) practices. These frameworks serve as catalysts, enabling businesses operating in the global market to harness the benefits of digital transformation and to achieve sustainability and competitiveness across their products, services, and operations. Hamid's proactive and predictive O&M frameworks have made significant contributions to various research projects.
