Sylwia Werbińska-Wojciechowska, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland

Sylwia Werbinska-Wojciechowska is currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland. She obtained her DSc. in Machines Design and Maintenance in 2019. She holds an MSc. in Production Engineering and Management. Her current research focuses on advancing the digital transformation of maintenance strategies within technical systems, including the application of the Maintenance 4.0 concept and cutting-edge approaches in physical asset management. She specializes in developing innovative models and performance measurement frameworks for transport system operations, strongly emphasizing data-driven decision-making, predictive maintenance, and smart logistics. 

Additionally, her work explores the resilience and vulnerability of supply chains, contributing to more adaptive and robust industrial ecosystems in the context of Industry 4.0 and beyond. She is the author of three maintenance modeling and logistics books and has published over 140 peer-reviewed papers. Prof. Werbińska-Wojciechowska is an active member of professional organizations, including the Polish Logistics Association, the Polish Maintenance Society, and Polish Safety and Reliability Association.
