Wei Wang, City University of Hong Kong, China

Wei Wang received the Ph.D. degree in energy and nuclear science and technology from Politecnico di Milano in December 2018. He is currently assistant professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, City University of Hong Kong, from 2022. He was visiting assistant professor at the same unit in 2019-2022. His research focuses on the probabilistic reliability and risk assessment, and the modelling of aging, degradation, failure behavior of industrial components and systems based on Monte Carlo methods and computational models, for the analysis of their reliability, safety, security, vulnerability and resilience characteristics.
